Here I am again with pictures….finally…of Europa Park where we all had a wonderful day visiting the skeletons and pumpkins, riding on trains, planes and boats to get new sensations an adventurous way…to be together for a relaxing day.

Actually THESE PICTURES…in my camera since then..JUST GOT TRANSFERED  to my computer which… I did not know….  had the  program (or logiciel) for putting them on.  I was waiting to have 100 pictures in my camera to get them all developed AND put on a CD TO TRANSFER them to the computer (as I have a coupon for 100 free photos that I was going to use) 

Well, I finally asked Anna if it was possible toPUT THE PHOTOS DIRECTLY ON TO THE COMPUTER from the camera (like Juliet and lots of other people do  !)…..and  she did…saying she had put the program on the computer when I got the camera from  my collegues for my retirement end of 2005 ! I'm learning every day. Wow! Alex and daughter, Lorienne Paris Colson Sept.27, 2007 in Schiltigheim, France , home of Alex's birth on Sept. 18, 1977

Arrival:Bernard picked them all up  at the International Airport in Frankfort am Maine on Tudesay September 25th. Great Falls, Montana to Denver; then change of plane for Detroit and a run for it in Detroit to get on Lufthansa plane to Frankfort. Bags not on plane and arrival in Strasbourg without luggage; but with a virus Lori was carrying !

Two visits and two sick days : The bags followed 10 hours later and Lori's intestinal flu flowered in less than 20 hours. All of Wednesday (Sept. 26) we sat with her while she spitted up bile after having vomited the 8 mini sausages she had eat en the nite before. What an idea to feed a tot such hot stuff,  Grandma! But she likes sausages !  Was it the sausage or was it a virus ? We opted for the second  hypothosis because :

after a lovely day (Sept. 27) of health, a good visit in Oelwisheim with Katie & Jojo, drinking their good wine, coffee and tea and eating apple pie; and then having an evening out with Jean Loup, Therese & Mémé at at “tarte flambe” restaurant, everyone was sick on Friday! Even Nicolas and Esther, Alex's friends who had visited us on Wednesday nite ! Rest and sleep in day on Friday , Sept. 28 with line ups at the bathroom!Katie, Jojo, Michael, Thérèse and Jean-Loup were lucky to have escaped the 12 hour flu.

Mémé got it on Saturday (Sept. 29), but still had Amanda, Alex, Seb and Lori  for Sunday dinner after their overnite in the Vosges Mountains with Alex's dad.  Amanda wanted to take Mémé back to Mt with her because of  her cooking. Of course, who can resist Elsa's “apfelstudel”?

Thérèse and her twin sister, Lili along with Michael, Jojo and Caroline joined us for Sunday afternoon coffee, chat and pictures-viewing.

Monday, October l we rescheduled our plans that had been set for the previous Friday: a fun day at Europa Park in Rust, Germany, 40 minutes by autoroute out of Strasbourg across the Rhine River. A Halloween theme with thousands of pumpkins, skeletons, witches and false  dead bodies to scare anyone from any country. But that will be my next chapter !
